Connect Homeless Service

ANEW service for and on behalf of Tameside MBC

Connect Homes is a Tameside based supported homes service lead by Operations Lead, Phil Richards. We offer male and female specialist provision for people who have experienced long periods of homelessness and find it difficult to maintain stability and manage a home.

Anew CIC is a progressive, family orientated organisation with a strong emphasis on connection, authenticity and creating real long-term sustainable outcomes for individuals who have substance misuse issues and other symptomatic pressures associated with this such as homelessness, mental health etc.

Accommodation options and help available

There is a strong emphasis on the need to create “family” homes. Our service model offers a range of accommodation options, from the complex male/female housing, primary and secondary treatment centres, a variety of 3 bed recovery homes and 1 bed staff flats for individuals who now work for us.

In order to create sustainable change we offer a variety of psychosocial interventions, brief therapies and therapeutic group work sessions that are staged and embedded across all of our services, it is essential that the right therapy is accessed at the right stage, for example we use brief interventions for the men and women living within the complex needs service, group work for clients living within the addiction treatment service and therapeutic staff support sessions for those living in the 1 bed flats who are experiencing their first roles in the world of work. The right intervention at the right time equals more sustainable outcomes in the long run. Speak to our team at ANEW in Tameside today.
